Hi All,

I had the pleasure of delivering my first speaker session at MacAD UK 2018 today (all being well, this post should go up just as I start). Thanks for those that watched, attended and (hopefully) got some ideas!

“Shields up, Captain?” The challenges of bringing modern security ideas to an existing company

Darren spent the summer of 2017 working with a client in an attempt to raise the general level of their IT security, with a minimum amount of faff.
This session will cover the processes used, challenges faced (technical and human), and lessons learnt from the project. Which guidelines should be considered? Which Apple management features should be used? Which of these features need a little bit more work to be useful? How should the changes be rolled out? How to deal with the ‘human’ factor; working with less technical users, working with users on leave (vacation or maternity), and most importantly, working with passive refusal users?
